Frederick Paul Johnson, 60, of Wrentham formerly of Franklin and Walpole died September 30 at his home.
Born in Boston, March 25, 1963, the son of the late William and Ann (Lovely) Johnson, Fred was raised in Walpole and had lived in Franklin prior to moving to Wrentham five years ago.
He had been a pressman for the Courier Corporation for over 25 years.
Fred enjoyed camping, cooking, muscle cars and car shows, doing jigsaw puzzles and following his son’s and grandkids’ hockey and baseball careers in their youth. Family was always #1, he didn’t miss a game.
He is survived by his children, Kaitlyn Johnson and her boyfriend, Andrew Patrick and his son Charlie Patrick of Holliston, Michael Johnson and his wife Amy of Franklin, Christopher Johnson and his fiancé Helen Donovan of Franklin and Emily Johnson and her boyfriend Paul Hinds of Plainville.
He is also survived by his brothers, William Johnson of Franklin and Thomas Johnson of Brockton.
He was the grandfather of Trevor and Rylee.
He is also survived by his former wife Heidi Zahner of Franklin.
His calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 4 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-7, with a service to be held at the conclusion of the calling hours. Burial will be private.
