Of Hyde Park, passed away September 28, 2023, at the age of 104. Beloved wife of the late Louis L. Doyle. Loving mother of Beverly Hauser and her husband Thomas of Medfield, Laurie Galusha and his wife Finnuala of Hyde Park, and Geraldine Squillante and her husband Charles of West Roxbury. Devoted Grandma of Sheri Lue, Chuck, and TJ. Cherished Nonnie of Maddie, Lily, and Suzy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis had a great love for her family, her religion, and her community. She got the family together to celebrate every holiday, birthday and special occasion. Religion was an important part of her life. She showed her devotion through prayer and her love for people. She was very involved in her community. She served as an officer and called Bingo in the Community Seniors for over 40 years. She played Bingo every week at the Norwood Senior Center and where she lived. She served as a delegate for the Massachusetts Democratic Party for many years.
Phyllis also loved to travel extensively visiting many countries. She shared her love for travel by becoming a group organizer for Yankee Bus Lines for 42 years coordinating trips throughout the North East including an annual winter trip to Daytona Beach for 38 of those years.
She loved life and the people in it. She lived and loved to the fullest.

Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, on Wednesday, October 4th at 10:00am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St., West Roxbury at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. Visiting Hours Tuesday, October 3rd from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Funeral Home.
