Kevin B. Higgins, age 83, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Cambridge, passed away Sept. 20, 2023. Retired Supt. of Kirkland House at Harvard University and a US Army Veteran.
Kevin was born in Cobh, County Cork, Ireland on February 16, 1940, a son of the late Edward & Mary (Lynch) Higgins. He was the brother of Michael Higgins, Edward Higgins, Patrick Higgins and his wife Victoria, of Houlton, ME, Oliver Higgins and his wife Maryanne, of Mays Landing, NJ, Elizabeth (Higgins) Sganga and her husband Mario, of Dracut. Former brother-in-law of Marie Higgins. Uncle of many nieces and nephews including his Goddaughter, Susan St. Pierre and his Godson, Mark Higgins.
Calling hours are Monday, Oct. 2, from 4-8 p.m. at Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Mass Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church, 29 Mount Auburn St., Cambridge. Those attending are asked to meet at church. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury.
