Marcy Olsen, 65

Marcy (Fisken) Olsen, age 65, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Steven A. Olsen, to whom she was wed for forty years.
Born in Lynn, MA on December 17, 1957, she was a loving daughter of the late Hyman and Florence (Goldstein) Fisken.
Marcy grew up and was educated in Lynn. She continued her education, attending Salem State College. She had been employed for several years as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS in Norton and when younger, worked as a Cancer Registrar at the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain.
Marcy’s greatest gift and the essence of her life was her adoring family and the pleasure she received being a grandmother to her cherished granddaughter was second-to-none. Marcy also had a special place in her heart for cats and will always be fondly remembered for her adventurous nature and exceptional organizational skills. At the time of her death, she was anticipating the birth of her second grandchild.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Thomas S. Olsen of Attleboro and Stephanie L. Beecher and her husband Mariano of Norwell. She was the treasured grandmother of Reni Beecher. She was the dear sister of Amy Beyea of Naples, Florida. She was the much-loved niece of Sidney Fisken of Naples, Florida and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Monday, October 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton. Burial will be private.
