Kyle Buford Duffey, lovingly known as "Daboo" and "Hun", 66, of Tifton passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. Duffey from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Tifton Harley Davidson in conjunction with Friday Bike Night, which will be their final Friday Bike Night. Family and friends will celebrate Mr. Duffey on Saturday, October 14, 2023, with a reception from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a dessert.
Born November 27, 1956, in Milledgeville, Mr. Duffey was the son of the late Paul Duffey and Geraldine Hall Duffey. Before retiring, he worked as a meter installer for the Southern Company and he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and he was a member of the Harley Owners Group. He was very sociable and he was quite a jokester. He loved playing golf and he loved oldies music.
Mr. Duffey is survived by his wife, Tammy Youngblood Duffey of Tifton; two sons, Drew Duffey of Tifton and Corey Duffey of Jasper; one brother and sister-in-law, Kent and Cindy Duffey of Eatonton; one nephew, Grant Duffey of Madison; two nieces, Kenly Overton of Eatonton and Katlyn Duffey of Cumming; and numerous nieces and nephews in the Youngblood family.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton and to the entire medical staff in the Intensive Care Unit at Tift Regional Medical Center for their exemplary care of Mr. Duffey.
