David H. Bienvenue, 82, of Westport, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was the husband of Betsy (Williams) Bienvenue.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Aurel and Irene (Curt) Bienvenue. He was a graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1958. David worked for New England Electric System.
He was an avid reader and history buff. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and genealogy research. David loved being with his family, his beloved dogs and his books. He found joy in living a quiet and simple life.
Including his wife, he is survived by his son Paul D. Bienvenue of Somerset, daughter Sarah Wagner and her husband Brandon, step-son Erik Greene, three grandchildren, sisters Claire Delekta and Jeanne Sunderland, five nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Paul F. Bienvenue.
The Family is appreciative of the loving care he received at Hunt Nursing Home and from Care Dimensions Hospice, both in Danvers, MA.
