George F. Bryant, Jr (“GB”) of Telluride, Colorado and Little Compton, RI, died in comfort at home, surrounded by his adoring family on Sunday, September 24th. He was the son of the late George F. Bryant, Sr., and Barbara Archer Bryant.
GB was born in Billerica, MA. He lived in Ankara, Turkey; Tripoli, Libya; The Canary Islands; Midland, Texas; Huntsville, Alabama; New York City, NY; Croton on Hudson, NY; before settling with his wife Louise in Rye, NY. He attended Tulane University and earned a Harvard Graduate School of Design Advanced Management Development Program Real Estate certificate. Prior to starting his companies, AquaArk and Flxtran, he was a technology manager in New York with Rothschild. He was an avid sailor, skier, reader, and a loving husband, father, friend, and brother. He had an insatiable curiosity and loved sharing stories over delicious dinners of “recipe(s) that looked good” with friends and family and dancing to great music, with lots of spins.
He is survived by his wife Louise, son Hutch, daughter Brakeley, as well as his sister, Kathy Bryant Lynch and her family.
A Memorial Service to which friends and family are invited will be held 12:00 PM, Sunday, October 29th at St Andrew’s by the Sea in Little Compton, RI.
