Larry “Wolfie” Martin Luzier, 71, of Cherry Tree, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA.
The son of Wesley Martin and Edna Jane (Van) Luzier, he was born on December 7, 1951 in Indiana, PA.
Larry served in the US Army earning the rank of SP4 during the Vietnam War.
Prior to the closure of the Fisher Scientific firm in Indiana, PA, he had been employed as a painter and welder for over twenty years. Along with his son, Dan, he was a co-owner of D. Luzier Services, a gas well company.
Some of Larry’s favorite pursuits were hunting, fishing and enjoying time on his Harley. He thoroughly loved being with his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his three children: Anissa Straw and husband Dennis of Marion Center, PA; Daniel Martin Luzier and wife Heather of Commodore, PA and Amber Luzier of Starford, PA; his five grandchildren: Mark Wetzel, Jr.; Ashley Wetzel; Justin Luzier; Danielle Luzier and Eric Matthew Pontani and his great grandson, Tucker Smith.
Also surviving are his brother, Wesley E. Luzier and wife Debra of Commodore, PA and his sister, Donna J. Kime and husband Gerald “Ed” of Cherry Tree, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dennis Luzier and his grandson, Kenneth James Misko.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. At 2:00 p.m. military honors will be observed by the Clymer American Legion Post #222 at the beginning of the visitation.
