Arthur Lamar Bradford, 80 of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, September 25, 2023, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 3 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2023, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Gary Mimbs officiating. Chief William Smallwood will give the eulogy.
Mr. Bradford was born July 28, 1943, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late John David & Vera Bridges Bradford. Mr. Bradford was a community services officer for the City of Fitzgerald Police Department. He was a very dedicated employee and loved his job. He enjoyed cooking and telling jokes. Mr. Bradford was a very outgoing man.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Catherine Bradford of Fitzgerald; a son, Vinson Lamar Bradford of Ware County; daughter: Tammy Bradford Knight of Dodge County; and two step-daughters: Octavia Miller of Fitzgerald and Natalie Hillmon of Hinesville. Other relatives also survive.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
