Catherine L. Daggett (Salvaggi) age 62, passed away on September 14, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Born in Quincy and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James L. Salvaggi and Catherine (Hogan) Salvaggi.
A graduate of Brockton High School, she worked as a medical assistant for Steward Medical for many years.
Above all she loved her family the most and her family always came first. She was an avid fan of all Boston sports, loved the beach, family game night, and travelling in her later years.
A true matriarch of her family, she was the life of the party and was often the first to arrive on the dance floor and the last to leave. She will be remembered as being a provider to her family, fierce protector as she loved her family dearly, and was irreplaceable.
She is survived by her four children, Rebecca Almeida of Middleboro, Heather Daggett of Brockton, Kelly Daggett of Brockton, and Adam Daggett of Brockton; two siblings, Michelle Brodie of Brockton and Maureen Killoran of Litchfield, NH. Catherine was known as “Nene” to her five loving grandchildren, Isabelle, Laylana, Adriana, Nicholas, and Jordan; and “Auntie Cucka” to her nieces and nephews, Leah, Michael, Brittany, and Jamie.
A Celebration of Catherine’s life will be on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm, with readings from her family and a tribute to Catherine beginning at 4:00 pm, in the Bridgewater Citizens Club, 60 Hale St, Bridgewater, MA.
