WEBSTER- Lois A. (Frappier) Millett, 73, died peacefully at home, Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
No word is enough. No word has the power to explain how extraordinary Lois was. Her love was fierce. Her loyalty immeasurable. Our greatest cheerleader. Our strongest advocate. Kind, protective, intuitive, caring and mindful. The best wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved watching John and Mike compete at Hare Scrambles, and was always up for one of Julie’s adventures. Loved James Patterson and anything murder mystery, motorcycle rides, the casino, keno, cards with friends, ski trips, cribbage with John on the porch and loved talking about the one time she took Judo lessons. A phenomenal baker famous for her brownies, fudge and all things chocolate.
But… out of all of these things, it was her grandsons that brought her the most joy. “Grammy Lois” she was called; Caleb and Jake are the two luckiest boys on earth. Our world was a better place for having her in it. Rest easy beautiful soul.
Lois is survived by her husband of 52 years, John J. Millett; a daughter Julie M. McCarthy and her husband Scott of Oxford; a son Michael C. Millett and his wife Lisa of Webster; 2 grandsons Caleb and Jacob Millett; 2 brothers Jeffrey Frappier and Matthew Frappier and his wife Sharon; 2 sisters Denise Frappier and Brenda Schroeder and her husband Eric. She was preceded in death by her brother Stephen Frappier who died in 2003.
Lois was born on December 7, 1949 in Worcester, a daughter of Gerald and Evelyn (Dabrowski) Frappier. Lois worked at the Assessor’s office at the Auburn Town Hall for many years and enjoyed retirement since 2011.
