CHICOPEE – Bernadine E. “Sparky” (Theroux) Klin, 82, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, September 21, 2023. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on September 11, 1941, a beloved daughter of the late Frederick I. Theroux and Grace M. (Keeler) Theroux Lichwala. She was raised and educated in Chicopee and had lived in Chicopee most of her life. She was a loving homemaker to her children and was a caretaker to her mother for many years. She was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her many friends. She leaves her three loving children, Philip J. Klin and his companion, Lucinda Lincoln, of Agawam, Michael A. Klin of Chicopee and Candyce B. Lebeduik and her husband, John, of Emmaus, PA; her two cherished grandchildren, Jack and Gretchen Lebeduik; her dear brother in law, Charles Auger of Florida; her dear sister in law, Elizabeth “Betty” Theroux of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three dear brothers, Dennis Theroux, Frederick Theroux, and James Theroux; her two dear sisters, June Auger and Nancy Keeler; and her former husband, Philip F. Klin. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. There are no visiting hours. Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
