Janice F. Beeler

Janice F. Beeler, 95, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on November 22, 1927, in Elwood, the daughter of Lester W. and Mildred T. (Haas) Fritz. She was a graduate of Elwood High School and attended Ball State University. She married Frederick Van Beeler on September 3, 1960. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2016.
Janice was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and enjoyed playing all types of card games.
She is survived by her children Elaine Beeler and Michael (Kelly) Beeler all of Anderson; step grandchildren Austin (Susana Villasenor) Weaver and Hayden Weaver; step great grandchildren, Ayden and August.
Along with her husband Fred, Janice was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Fritz, Ruth Parkison, and Evelyn Champion.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Matthew Jakupco. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Kidney Association or St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
