WORCESTER___Estelle C. (Anusauskas) Kozarnowicz,91, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Friday September 15, 2023 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. Her husband of 43 years, Joseph S. Kozarnowicz died in 2003.
Estelle is survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Tamulevich and sisters, Millie Gondek, Mary Sutkus and Monica Dupont. Estelle was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late John A. and Helen (Walentukevicius) Anusauskas and has lived in Worcester all of her life.
Mrs Kozarnowicz worked as a Quality Control Inspector many years for Astra Pharmaceuticals and retired many years ago. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Estelle was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. She was devout in her faith saying the Rosary every day and participating in the Television Masses. Estelle loved animals, especially her dog, Penny and bird, Ziggy and she also loved gardening. Her favorite flower were her Irises.
A Calling hour will be held on Wednesday September 20, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street. Estelle's funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
