Michael J. Cusato, age 68, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband for 45 years of Donna M. (Cirone) Cusato. Born in Winchester he was the son of the late John S. and Evelyn B. (Peters) Cusato.
Michael was a lifelong Woburn resident and was a graduate of Woburn High School. He owned and operated the Cusato Construction Company for well over 40 years. He was a member of the Melrose Wyoming Lodge of Freemasons and was also a member of the Woburn Lions Breakfast Club. In his leisure time, Michael enjoyed golfing, playing cards, He was an avid sports fan, and loved to spend time in Florida with friends and family. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his beloved wife Donna, Michael is survived by his devoted children; Michael J. Cusato, Jr. of Woburn and Lauren Griff of Woburn. He was the loving grandfather of Jaxon and Juliana Griff. Cherished brother of Peter Cusato and his wife Janice of Reading.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday, September 19th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Michael's memory to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Ste 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
