Gerald Dwayne Gray, 50, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, September 11, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Mr. Gray was born March 16, 1973, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Frank & Marjorie Johnson Gray. Mr. Gray was a technician for Shell Rapid Lube and Sears. His enjoyed playing the guitar. His family was his life, especially his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tim Lariesa Gray of Fitzgerald; a son, Joseph Garcia & Dale of Wray; daughters: Amanda Barnwell & Jeffrey of Fitzgerald and Kristan Sumner & Stacey of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Alexis Garcia, Melanie Garcia, Kyra Garcia, Elizabeth Barnwell, Natalie Barnwell, Judy Brown, Aubrey Brown, Serana Sumner, Selene Sumner and Zane Sumner, all of Fitzgerald; and two brothers: James Gray & Alicia of Fitzgerald and Randall Gray of Tifton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy Gray and Ray Hair and two sisters: Sharon Slaughter and Beverly Dennis.
