Dubuque, lowa: Josephine M. (Camerota) Quinn, 90, formerly of Worcester, MA,
passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Stonehill Health Center.
She leaves a son Anthony F. Quinn and his wife Christy of Dubuque, IA; daughter
Elisa M. Johnston and her husband Kenneth of Bluffton, SC; and son Joseph P. Quinn
and his partner Millie of Holden, MA. She was predeceased by her husband Francis J
Quinn and by siblings Anthony Camerota Jr., Elizabeth Camerota and Catherine DiTullio.
Josephine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Anthony Camerota and
Lucy (Silvestris) Camerota. She graduated from Venerini Academy and worked for 10
years as a key punch operator at the former Norton Company and as a cashier at
landoli's Market and Home Depot. She was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Church, attended many Novenas and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows.
She was always involved with the Church, Community and Military Support Groups as
a volunteer. She was an accomplished baker, cook, crocheter and seamstress. She was
an avid walker and actively involved with her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4-7pm at Nordgren
Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A Funeral Mass will be Held
on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00am in Our Lady of Providence/St. Bernard
Church, 228 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA. Burial will follow at Worcester County
Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine's memory may
be made to Stonehill Communities, 3485 Windsor Ave. Dubuque, IA 52001 or at
