Timothy Rosso passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 64.
His business aptitude spoke for itself, his sense of humor was ever-present, and his mind for numbers was unmatched. But above it all, he ensured that his family knew how much he loved and cared for them, from the beginning until the very end.
Tim was born to Mario and Jean Rosso on March 9, 1959 and grew up in Canoga Park alongside his sister Cathy and his brother Ken. The youngest of three, he spent his childhood having fun, playing pranks, and practicing his entrepreneurial skills while also trying to keep up with his older siblings who he simply adored. He graduated from Canoga Park High School in 1976.
Soon after Tim met his wife-to-be Christine, who he married in 1986. It was their second date where he taught her to do the brakes on her car and encouraged her to do the second side after teaching her the first. It was then that she knew he was the one (even though she didn’t know whether her side of the car would successfully stop). Together they worked to build their own auto parts business, Boulevard Brake Supply, while raising two sons, Ryan and Steven, in Santa Clarita Valley. Family was the undisputed top priority for Tim, and he consistently made room in his busy schedule to attend baseball games, listen to musical performances, and serve as the primary driver on road trip vacations.
In 2017 recently-retired Tim moved to Oxnard, his favorite place. He lived his best life, golfing twice a week, watching as many Dodger games as he could, eating his favorite foods, and of course, spending time with family, which had since grown by two after Ryan and Steven married Amanda and Mallory, respectively. After being diagnosed with cancer in 2022, Tim found joy in playing endless rounds of Up-the-River-Down-the-River, watching his favorite action movies and TVs shows of all genres, and doing literally any activities as long as they involved his family.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his close friend/business partner, Marc Rapoport. He is survived by his wife, two sons and their spouses, two siblings, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, innumerable friends, and beloved couch.
