Obituary

Norma Belle Mosher passed away September 5, 2023, at Stone Hill Assisted Living in Andover, Massachusetts. She was 101 years old.

Norma was born July 22, 1922, in Noyan Quebec, Canada. In her teenage years, she moved to St. Albans, Vermont to attend High School.  After she graduated high school, she moved to Montreal Quebec where she met, and in 1941, married the love of her life, Allister Mosher - they were married for 54 years up until his death in 1995. In 1954, they moved with their 3 children to Medford MA. where they later had their 4th child.  In later years, to put her oldest son through college, she worked at Shrafft’s Chocolate Factory in Charlestown, MA. Up until her moving to an assisted memory care unit she was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Medford.

Norma loved her family, going for long walks, cooking, baking, gardening, watching the birds, and the Boston Red Sox.

Surviving Norma is her son Arthur and daughter-in-law Lorraine of Fremont, New Hampshire, her son Barry and daughter-in-law Emina of Danvers, daughter in-law Beverly of Tewksbury, daughter in-law Pamala of Medford, 6 grandchildren (Brandon & wife Lyndsey, Randy & wife Lauren, Michael & wife Sarah, Randy & wife Melanie, Lance, and Scott), along with 8 great grandchildren (Hunter, Hailey, Allister, Eleanor, Patrick, Ashley, Domenic, & Kayla)

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allister, her son Edward, her son Marland, and 3 grandchildren - Jennifer, Sean, and Darlene, along with 7 brothers and sisters.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday September 16, 2023, at Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, MA 02155 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Immediately following, her Funeral will be held at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held at the Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, MA
