Delton Lagrande Adams, 48, of Tifton, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Charles Adams will officiate with burial to follow at Cumorah Cemetery in Douglas. Pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, Jared Adams, Michael Kidd, Charles Adams, Michael Adams and Fred Thomas. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Adams was born on August 14, 1957 in Warner Robins and was the son of Naomi Hurt Adams of Tifton and the late Delton Lewis Adams. He was also preceded in death by two sisters. He was retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft technician and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Adams is survived by one daughter, Sara Chole Adams of Warner Robins; and two brothers, Charles Adams of Orlando, Florida and Jared Adams of LaGrange.
