Margaret (Graffeo) Romano, of Medford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 2nd. She was 98. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Michele and Francesca (DiMino) Graffeo.
Margaret loved spending time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret’s family was her pride and joy. When Margaret was not with her family, she loved to travel. She enjoyed learning the culture of each place she visited, and listening to all genres of music.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Romano. She was the devoted mother of Anna Romano and her husband RG, Anthony Romano, Frances Salmon and her husband Douglas, and Angela Cucinotta and her husband Frank. She was the loving Nani of Aaron Joseph, Nora Beth, Douglas Jr., Michaela, Emily, Christa, Molly, Thomas, Laura, Joseph Romano and Joseph Cucinotta. She was the Great Nani of Vera, Clementine and Wesley.
Margaret’s funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, September 7th at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with her family on Wednesday, September 6th from 4 through 8 PM.
