Clinton G. Mosher, 93, of Dartmouth passed away Monday August 28, 2023 after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband to Virginia (Rezendes) Mosher; they recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Oren E. and Elizabeth M. (Topholm) Mosher, he lived in Dartmouth all his life.
Clint was a loving and proud son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was patient, kind, and understanding. Family and friends were the focus of his life; he was happiest spending time with them. He was always there when needed to offer advice or lend a helping hand. Always optimistic, Clint was quick to smile, laugh, and share a memory.
He had fond memories of working with his father at Mosher's Garage and enjoyed passing that knowledge onto his sons, daughters, and neighbors. Clint was extremely clever and capable of repairing most anything. He enjoyed music, poems, dancing, fishing, camping, flying kites, and traveling in his motorhome. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge and longstanding member of the Family Motor Coach Association.
Clint was formerly employed as a licensed electrician for Rotman Electrical Company in Holbrook until his retirement. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 103 Boston for over 53 years.
He served in the Massachusetts National Guard for 17 years.
He is survived by his wife Virginia; four children, Judith Greenlaw and her husband Vandy of Dartmouth, Janet Mosher Arruda of Dartmouth and her partner Raymond LeComte of Wareham, Steven Mosher and his wife Lori of Acushnet, and Christopher Mosher and his wife Jo Anne of Scarborough, ME; six grandchildren, Rebecca Champion and husband Chris, Jonathan Greenlaw and wife Livie, Rachel Arruda Sitcoske and husband Matt, Amanda Mosher, Julia Mosher, and Abigail Mosher; five great-grandchildren, Oliana, Micah, Laelia, Byron, and Norah; and his niece, Lori (Rezendes) Monteiro
He was the brother of the late Donald Rezendes.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday September 7th at 12:30 PM at the Congregational Church of South Dartmouth, 17 Middle St., Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
