Patricia Ann (Cullum) Ferraro passed away peacefully Thursday, August 31st, at home surrounded by her family.
Pat was born in Kingston, NY in 1935. She raised seven children. In 1972, Pat earned an Associate in Applied Science from Ulster County Community College, Stone Ridge, NY. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science, in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, NY, graduating Summa cum Laude in 1979.
She worked in many areas of the nursing field, including Intensive and Cardiac Care in Kingston, NY, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, MA. Pat finished her career in home Health care as a visiting nurse and Quality Assurance.
She is survived by her children, James J. Feraro Jr. and his wife Mary Cook Ferraro of Kingston, NY, Timothy S. Ferraro, and his wife Suzanne Greenwood Ferraro of Newton, MA, Kim F. Noonan of Westport, MA, Lyn Fors and her husband Steven Fors of Westport, MA, Vincent P. Ferraro and his wife Lisa Dressel Ferraro of Tivertom, RI, Robert G. Ferraro and his wife Karen Evans Ferraro of Northbridge, MA, and Michael P. Ferraro of Kingston, NY.
She leaves her nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly.
She is also survived by her brother James (Jace) Cullum and his wife Constance Cullum, her sister Bridget Cullum Jones and her husband Oscar Jones, her beloved caregiver Mary E. Raposo as well as several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family a graveside service will be private.
