Julie Ann Mobley Brown, 64, of Nashville passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Brown at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
Gary Mobley, Rusty Turner, Bubba Sumner, Jeb Hutchinson, Paul Howell and Fred Howell will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 23, 1958, in Valdosta, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Vernon Mobley and Minnie Monk Mobley. She was also preceded in death by one son, Vernon Woods; one daughter, Jessica Peebles; one brother, Charles Mobley; and one aunt and her husband, Marie and Billy Purvine. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, George Brown of Nashville; one son, Derrick Woods of Nashville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Diane Mobley of Ocilla, Chris and Amanda Hutchinson of Nashville and Donnie and Shantal Hutchinson of Ray City; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Rose and Wesley Sumner of Jesup, Sue and Bob Lynch of Ty Ty and Jean Turner of Nashville; and two uncles and their wives, Danny and Pat Monk and Roy and Susan Monk, all of Palm Bay, Florida.
