WEBSTER – Steven L. Raymond, 55, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester in the presence of his family.
He leaves his wife of 17 years, Jennie R. (Giblin) Raymond; 2 brothers, Paul F. Raymond and his fiancée Deborah A. Duquette of Phoenix, AZ and Jeffrey L. Raymond and his wife Denise of Athol; nephews, nieces and many friends.
He was born on May 21, 1968 in Worcester, a son of Camille and Yolande (Demers) Raymond and was a lifelong resident of Webster. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Technical High School in Charlton.
Mr. Raymond was currently an IT specialist for Designer Systems in Uxbridge.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church where was involved in several capacities: Eucharistic minister, lector, teacher of catechists, parish council member and volunteer in other ministries.
He had been a dispatcher for both the Webster Police and Fire Departments and was currently a fire policeman for the East Thompson Fire Department.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 9, at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace.
