WORCESTER_Roberta E. (Foskett) Broquist, 81, of Worcester died Saturday, Augst 26, 2023 in Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. Her husband Robert E. Broquist died in 1997. She is survived by her children, Robert J. Broquist, Joyce A. Seymour and partner Kenneth Frankian all of Worcester, brothers James H. Foskett of Oxford, MA, five grandchildren, Lyndsey, Ashley her partner Albert, Lawrence Jr. and his wife Beth , Joyce and her partner Onasis Sr. and Cameron and his fiancé’ Samantha; nine great grandchildren, Giovanni, Mariela, Jayden, Miley, Jacob, Onasis Jr., Germani, Carmela and Gemma. She is predeceased by her brother Harold L. Foskett, Jr. and son-in-law Lawrence M. Seymour Sr. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late, Harold L. and Anah (Reed) Foskett, Sr.
Mrs. Broquist worked as a personal homemaker for Premier Healthcare for many years prior to retiring. She graduated from the former Commerce High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, activities at Summit Elder Care, word searches, bingo, and music. Our family would like to extend gratitude to the staff at Summit Elder Care and Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center for their care and compassion.
Calling hours will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2023 in DIRSA MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester, MA. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood St. on September 1, 2023. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St. Worcester, MA.
