Elizabeth B. (Killam) Giordano, of Leominster, formerly of Medford, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 27th. She was 79. Born in Danvers, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edwin and Beatrice (Loveys) Killam.
Elizabeth loved all types of animals. The neighborhood raccoons, squirrels, birds and opossums were all welcome to visit in her yard. Elizabeth enjoyed volunteering at the local horse farm assisting with their equine therapy program. When she was not at the horse farm, she enjoyed snacking on black licorice, sipping on a glass of Galliano liqueur and catching the next program on Queen Elizabeth and the royal family.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Paul Giordano. She was the devoted mother of Amy Weeks and her husband Joseph, Jeff Giordano and his wife Jill Bregovi, and the late Michael Giordano. She was the loving Nanny of Amanda, Caitlin, Brady, Valencia and Roman. She was the proud owner of her dog Chipper, who was gifted as a Valentine’s Day present from Paul.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Elizabeth’s family on Thursday, August 31st from 9 to 12 noon at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a celebration of life at noon. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
