Catherine M. “Katie” (Parziale) Wilson, age 95, of Woburn, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 24th, at Care Dimensions Hospice House of Lincoln. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Anna (Gallo) Parziale.
Katie was employed for many years at General Electric, first in their Everett office and then later in Lynn. She loved fashion and loved getting dressed for a night on the town. She and her husband Frank especially loved ballroom dancing, so much so they were once broadcasted over the TV at a New Year’s Eve party. They also loved to travel and cruise to Florida and Aruba. She deeply valued the time she was able to spend with her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and newphews, and she was always happy to host them at the cottage in York, Maine. She loved her poodles Tara, GiGi, and Bellezza, and will always be remembered with a smile on her face.
Katie was the beloved wife of Frank C. Wilson. She was the dear sister of Christine McCann and her husband Richard of Woburn, the late Vincent “Jimmy” Parziale, Marie Haggerty, Michael Parziale, Rose Bezjian, Rosalie Geddick, Louis “Sonny” Parziale, and Anna Parziale. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit Wednesday, August 30th from 9 - 11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
