Worcester_ Irena (Bruderek)Lech, of Worcester passed away on August 13, 2023, while vacationing in Szczytno, Poland. Her husband, Edward Lech died in 2018. She is survived by her two sons, Marek Lech and his wife Monika of Worcester, Krzysztof Lech and his wife Renata; brother, Andrzej Bruderek, sisters Halina Tomaszewska and Teresa Romaniuk; six grandchildren, Adrian, David, Thomas, Alexandra, Julia and Jakub; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Malgorzata Lech and a brother Krzysztof Bruderek and a brother Mieczyslaw Bruderek. She was born in Lyse, Poland, a daughter of Wladyslaw and Czeslawa (Baldyga) Bruderek.
Mrs. Lech immigrated to the United States in 1991. She was a kind and loving woman and a passionate mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her excellent culinary skills, she enjoyed traveling , particularly to Poland, shopping and spending time with her family.
A memorial Mass will be on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St. Worcester, MA.
