FALL RIVER… David. R. Medeiros, 66, of Fall River passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 19, 2023, at his home.
Born in Fall River, he was adored by his dearest grandparents, the late Manuel and Irene (Moniz) Brum. He was the son of the late Joseph R. Medeiros and Eileen B. (Brum) Wood.
David graduated from Diman Regional Technical Vocational High School, majoring in metal fabrication. He attended Bristol Community College, majoring in business administration. David worked in many different capacities in the construction and housing industries, always striving to become a better, more experienced worker. There was no project, no challenge he wouldn’t take on.
David was a dedicated family man. He was the family protector and would drop everything to be there for them if needed at a moment’s notice. He had the biggest heart and would give the shirt off his back to help a stranger. His greatest passion was his family, especially his daughter, Lindsey, which he always referred to as his “Princess”. David loved eating Portuguese food and talking to as well as spending time with his mother and daughter. His brother, Kenny, was his best friend. He loved to laugh and enjoyed helping people. He was a car enthusiast, loved to dance and had a soft spot for all animals. He leaves his family with many stories and lots of laughs as he was quite a character.
David was the beloved father of his little Linney, Lindsey (Myles Medeiros) Florindo and her husband Matthew of Fall River. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Medeiros of Fall River, and sisters: Lorie Ras and her husband Raul of Fall River and Christine Correia and her husband Fernando of Somerset. He leaves behind several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
