Gilbert R. Ethier 79, of 196 Ray Ave. Woonsocket died Monday in Oakland
Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of Florence (Dagesse) Ethier. Mr. Ethier was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Maurice and Esda (Marcoux) Ethier. Mr. Ethier was the owner of the former Hamlet Diner for forty years. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Jeanne A. Caron of Woonsocket and one granddaughter. He was also the brother of the late Donald Ethier.
Mr. Ethier’ s funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Foaurnier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 In Precious Blood Church Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-8 pm.
