Jason Homen, 44, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Born in New Bedford, son of Debra Homen and the late William C. Greenwood, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Jason loved playing video games and collecting comic books. He was kind hearted and a good friend to many. Jason was an avid Steelers fan.
He was a 1997 graduate of New Bedford Vocational Technical High School in the Machine Shop.
Survivors include his mother; his brother, Richard Oglesby; his grandmother, Dot Greenwood; his aunt, Diana Rivera; his uncle, Jeff Greenwood; and his cousin, Jesse Rivera.
All are welcome to his visitation on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals 495 Park St., New Bedford. His Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
