Cynthia A. Williamson
April 8,1954 - August 21, 2023
Cynthia A. Williamson, 69, passed away August 21, 2023 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an unexpected illness.
She was born on April 8, 1954 in Anderson, the daughter of Oliver and Vesta (Vermillion) Sylvester.
Cindy was a Mother, Grandmother, and close friend to many. In her spare time she loved to go on outings with her daughter Katie and friends and spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, bird watcher, dog lover, and a wizard in the kitchen. She cooked like only a mom knows how, making the kind of food that would bring the family home with every bite. She was a retired medical coder and attended Florida Station Church of God. Cynthia was special and dear to so many. She was truly a wonderful soul and will be so very deeply missed by all of the lives she’s touched.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter Katie (husband Bo) Stanton; grandchildren, Christian, Emma, Kinley Edgell, Brookelynne and Logan Stanton; sister, Susan (husband Tom) Capozzoli; nephews, Nick (wife Lacy) and Tony (wife Erika) Capozzoli; close friends, Debbie Jarvis, Chris and Robert Fogle and Tom Pettit; and her adored dog, "Kizzi".
She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Casey Kochensparger.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Aaron Edgell, Doug and Tammy Stanton, Madalynne Hall, and Chris Fogle for their amazing care and support during this difficult time.
The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
