He was a proud member of Local 4 for 53 years. Since semi-retiring, Bob enjoyed going to the Union Hall to spread his knowledge and wisdom to the younger generation of operators, including his son Sean and grandson Brandon, who are also members of Local 4.

Bob was an expert gardener, often sharing his tomatoes and cucumbers with friends and family. He was a master mechanic and was able to fix just about anything his hands touched. Bob loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, never showing up empty-handed each time he came to visit any of them. His constant hard work in everything he did, dedication, and notable work ethic will live on in each of his children and grandchildren.
A small, private memorial ceremony will be held at Bourne National Cemetery. Donations in Bob’s name can be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, New York 10306.
