George Phillip Kendall Sr., 71, of Brockton, MA, passed away Friday August 18, 2023, in the VA Medical Center in Brockton, MA. He was born on April 14, 1952, in Boston, MA, a son of the late Edward and Catherine (Curran) Kendall. His youth was spent in the Cambridge - Allston area in MA. He then lived for many years in Charlestown, MA followed Derry, NH. George proudly served his country with the US Army during Vietnam era. He worked as an auto mechanic and ended his career with the Veterans Administration in Bedford, MA. He enjoyed chess, music and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by one son, James Kendall and his wife Jennifer of Derry, five grandchildren, Branden, Nathan, Brendan, Dylan, and Ryan; one brother, Edward Kendall Jr., close friend and former wife, Trisha Allin. He was predeceased by two sons, George P. Kendall Jr and Thomas Kendall, and one brother Stephen Kendall.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 1 - 3 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH with a Catholic prayer service during the calling hours.
