Kim M. Fletcher, 65

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Kim M. (DiPietro) Fletcher, age 65, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Allen W. Fletcher, to whom she recently celebrated forty-six years of marriage on August 13th.

Born in Boston, MA on February 18, 1958, she was a loving daughter of Jack J., Jr. and Betty L. (Farr) DiPietro of Mansfield.

Kim grew up in Foxborough and was a 1976 graduate of Foxborough High, where she met Allen, the love of her life and future husband. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past thirty-eight years and prior to retiring, had worked as an Executive Secretary for ten years at the Raytheon Corporation.

A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, she previously taught the youth of the church as a CCD Teacher. Kim’s family, especially her grandchildren, were the essence of her life and always came first. Kim, along with her husband Allen enjoyed many cruises throughout the world. Her other enjoyments included playing video poker and trips to Las Vegas.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her devoted children: Steven A. Fletcher and his wife Hannah of Mansfield and Nicole M. O’Connor and her husband Ryan of Tolland, Connecticut. She was the cherished and proud Mimi of McKenzie, Alison, Molly and Andrew. She was the dear sister of Jack J. DiPietro, Jr. and his wife Colleen of Lexington, South Carolina, Michael A. DiPietro of Miami, Florida and the loving aunt of Samantha Peterson and her husband Joe of Lexington, South Carolina and Jack J. DiPietro, III of Miami, Florida.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, August 24th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North main Street, Mansfield.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 25th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
