Scott Christopher Carmichael, 60 of Tewksbury, passed away unexpectedly after a long tireless battle with heart issues.
He was born in Winchester on May 5, 1963 and was a son of Robert and Carole (Bevilacqua) Carmichael of Groton. He was educated in the Wakefield area, graduating from automotive at Northeast Vocational High School.
Scott had a profound fondness for all things that moved, with a special place in his heart for his cherished antique 71 Chevrolet Malibu. He delighted in participating in car shows, where his passion for automobiles shone. Motorcycle rides were another source of joy for him, and he eagerly looked forward to attending Laconia Bike Week. Renowned for his neighborly kindness, he was ever ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Scott's interests spanned beyond vehicles; he had an intriguing fascination with the history of aliens, often engaging in captivating conversations about the subject. Additionally, he found pleasure in diving into the research of his family's ancestry. Finding new family abroad he so fondly got to know.
Scott was the proprietor and operator of Wrench Dad Forklift Repairs, where he excelled as a master technician, showcasing his expertise in the field with an impressive career spanning over 30 years.
In addition to his parents, Robert and Carole of Groton, he is survived by his two children, Katelyn and Cameron Carmichael, both of Stoneham; his brother, Gary Carmichael and his wife, Paula of NH; his former wife, Deborah (Zolubos) Carmichael of Stoneham; and the Irwin family of Burlington and Woburn, whom he cared for deeply.
He was predeceased by his sister, the late Robin Carmichael.

On Saturday, August 26, 2023 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 10 a.m. -12 noon at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury 978-851-2061. His funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 12 noon followed by procession for burial at Tewksbury Cemetery.
