Maureen A. (Doyle) Mendonca, 61, of New Bedford, died Saturday August 19, 2023, after a brief illness. She was the wife of William E. Mendonca, and the daughter of Jeannette (Moquin) Doyle and the late Patrick Doyle.
Maureen was a 1980 graduate of Bishop Stang High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in business from UMass Dartmouth. She was employed as an Inside Sales Specialist at Cameron Ashley Building Products in Lakeville, MA for 36 years.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed walking, reading and kayaking with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, William, her mother, Jeannette, her sister, Sharon A. Doyle (Peter T. Beernink) and her nephew, Benjamin Beernink.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 25th from 4-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett.
