Glenn A. Wickman wasn’t your normal guy and this isn’t going to be your typical obituary. It wouldn’t suit him. He was 72 when he rode off into the sky on January 13, 2023. He is now with his parents Kenneth & Jane Wickman and his two younger brothers, Timothy & Larry Wickman. He left behind his beloved daughter, Amity, who has and will continue to miss him immensely until the day they are reunited. Also left behind were Amity’s husband and his buddy, John, his ex-wife, Linda Wickman, who shared 43 years of marriage together and were friends till the end.
Glenn was a special guy - he was honest and direct, sometimes tough with a big kind heart. He was the kind of person everyone would like to be, but few have the courage to do so. He was fiery, he was fierce and he was fun. He lived his life the way he wanted. He loved his family, his buddies and his little soul critters, Blizzard, Lucy & Nyx. Beyond his picturesque tattooed exterior was a mind deep in thought and a heart that loved hard. If you were lucky enough to be loved by him, well there are hardly any words to describe it. He would fight for you, there was no stopping him.
Glenn was a good time guy. Always up for something fun. Please join us in honoring his life and legacy at a Celebration of Life being held at Gillette Castle State Park on Saturday, September 9th at 12:30 in the afternoon.
Kindly RSVP to Dinoto Funeral Home by August 31st by calling 860-536-2685.
