Obituary

Eduardo R. Castillo, age 69, passed away peacefully August 12th,2023 due to medical complication at his home in Jamaica Plain Ma. Eduardo was born July 24th 1954 in Colon Matanzas,Cuba, where he was raised by his mother Ofelia and father Martin. He had six siblings that he always talked about and would of loved to live with in Florida. Eduardo later migrated to Miami in the United States in the 1980's and later on in 1988 he moved to Boston Ma, where hemet beloved Norma Pedroza and helped raise her two kids Felix and Denise Lara. A year later 1989, they had his one and only daughter Dianelis Castillo. Eduardo worked and was a part of the Egleston Sq community since the late 1980's and had multiple jobs over the years. He worked at neighborhood market (Casa Alegre), Chauncy Liquors and Egleston Square Pizza where he last worked for many years and help serve community. Eduardo enjoyed watching movies on his phone, fishing, and to spend time with his grandchildren on his days off. He lived for his daughter Dianelis and grandchildren, He always made sure that boys had their pizza. The boys will wait up for him every night and scream Papa is home! Pizza time! They are going to really miss him. Eduardo loved his job and co-workers and always had stories to tell. Eduardo will always be remembered as a hard worker,cared for others, always put everyone first and always made sure to check up on his loved ones. Eduardo loved dressing and smelling well. Loved to dress withtailored suits, ties, hats and loved his cologne, in which you can smell his cologne from a mile away and you knew he wascoming through the doors. Eduardo Is survived by his six siblings, sisters Isolina, Maida, and Zoraida, brothers Enrinque, Esmildo and Esteban. His Daughter Dianelis, Son John Pimentel, grandchildren Daniel, Jonathan, Armani, Lorenzo and his many nieces and nephews that he loved all very much. Please join us celebrating his life Wednesday Evening August 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Funeral Home Brady & Fallon Funeral in Jamaica Plain MA by Wednesday August 23 and or his home 11 Creighton St #302 Jamaica Plain MA 02130.
