Daniel “Dan” Maikal Guerin, 41, of Auburn, NH, died Saturday August 12, 2023, unexpectedly in his home from an acute coronary thrombosis. He was born on September 4, 1981 in Derry, NH, a son of Richard and Claire (O'Connell) Guerin.
In addition to his parents, Dan is survived by two sons, Holden Guerin and Baelin Guerin, both of Londonderry, NH; daughter, Nylah Guerin of Londonderry; one grandchild, Faye Guerin and the mother of his children, Vanessa Guerin.
Dan had many joys in his life. He loved his family, cooking holiday meals, and his time outdoors. He was an avid reader, loved attending rock concerts and comedy shows. He especially loved his naps.
Dan cherished his friendship and bond with the mother of his children. He was absolutely thrilled with the addition of his granddaughter. His parents were thankful he lived so close. They were able to share laughs, stories, and the occasional chores.
Dan worked at Vulc Tech in Hudson, NH for many years as a service advisor. He had a smile that was kind and infectious. He was quirky, intelligent, and absolutely hilarious, especially if he was passionate about a topic. Dan will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.
Although, not religious, Dan was very spiritual. He often said the woods were his "church or temple". A quote he was fond of was by John Muir "And into the woods I go, to lose my mind and find my soul"
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
