Thomas J. Marabella, lifelong South Medford resident, passed away August 13th surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Theresa K. (Salemme) Marabella. Tom graduated Medford High School Class of 1964 and went on to Bentley University, graduating in 1968. Tom received his CPA license and established his practice in Winchester. He served his clients with great care and hard work. He dedicated his life to provide whatever he could for the people he loved and will be sorely missed by family, friends, and all who had the chance to know him.
Tom was the husband of Liberta (Dell'Isola) Marabella for 53 years, father of Thomas S. Marabella and his wife Rotem of California, Nicole and her husband Michael Perrigo of Melrose, MA and Joseph Marabella. He was "Papa" to Ellieah, Benjamin and Joshua whom he adored and enjoyed spending time with on each coast. He is also survived by his sister Theresa Englen of Turners Falls, MA, formerly of Chelsea, and her late husband Joseph, along with loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, August 21st at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family on Sunday, August 20th from 4 through 8 PM.
