Sean Thomas O’Connell, 56, of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday, August 8 at his home in Lowell after complications following a stroke.
Sean was born on January 10, 1967 and raised in Burlington. He was also educated in Burlington and was a graduate of Burlington High School where he was a standout football player. He was a son of the late Robert Vincent O’Connell and the late Dorothy Rose O’Connell.
He worked in the landscaping and automotive field for most of his life. Most recently he worked as an automotive detailing specialist with Auto Stop in Pelham, NH.
Sean loved spending time with his friends, family and all those that he loved. He would do anything for anyone who needed help. Additionally, he loved music and enjoyed singing, he also was a huge New England Sports fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey O'Connell of Derry, NH; his sister Kelly O'Connell of Missouri; and countless friends, including his closest friend, Danny Dimastrantonio of Burlington, MA; and Kelsey's mother, Jaimi Gallinaro of Derry, NH.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Kevin O'Connell.
On Thursday, August 17, 2023 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 3 - 7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell 978-458-6816. His funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 7 p.m. immediately following the visitation.
