Wayne Hamilton Knipe passed away in his sleep in SeabrookNH on August 12, 2023. He was born in Lawrence on October 28, 1957 and was raised in Andover. He attended Andover Public Schools, and studied drafting at Northern Essex Community College. He worked as a handyman for most of his life until retirement. Wayne loved the Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins. He was a good friend to all and loved Salisbury Beach where he lived for many years. He loved animals, especially dogs. He is predeceased by his parents, Diane Knipe Watson and Warren D Knipe Sr, his brother W. David Knipe, Jr, his stepfather Jos W Watson, Jr, and stepbrother James Watson. He is survived by his sister Kyle Knipe with whom he lived, and his niece Rachael M Knipe of Methuen, and his step siblings Joyce, Julie and Buddy Watson. Donations may be made in Wayne's memory to any animal shelter.

Main St., Andover. a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Christ Episcopal Church, 33 Central St., Andover with burial following at Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
