Nancy M. (Brodeur) Chretien, 75, of Tiverton, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Rene E. Chretien.
Mrs. Chretien was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Edward "Manny” Brodeur and the late Diana (Carvalho) Brodeur and had been a longtime resident of Little Compton before relocating to Brookdale Sakonnet Bay in Tiverton. Prior to retirement, she worked as an organizer for Raytheon, Portsmouth. She enjoyed car shows, hot air balloons and going to the casino. She was a huge fan of Mickey Mouse and loved taking trips to Disney World. Her entire life was devoted to her love Rene and her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter and granddaughters.
Survivors include her daughter: Renee M. Moniz and her husband Mark of S. Kingstown, RI; her 2 granddaughters: Nicole and Lauren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Patricia St. Laurent and the late Dorothy Chretien.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, August 17, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Thursday, at the Potter Funeral Home from 9-10 A.M., prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.
