Deborah J. Manuel, 62, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, NH. She was born on February 19, 1961 in Cambridge, MA, a daughter of William and Mary (Sullivan) Czar, and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 25 years, formerly living in Somerville, MA. Deborah was a graduate of Somerville High School and Bunker Hill College. After college, she served in the US Army, stationed in Texas. Deb enjoyed plants, gardening and was an animal lover.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Scott Manuel, two sons, Chris Manuel, and Justin Harden; one daughter, Kristen Harden, a granddaughter, Cassandra; four sisters, Mary Anne Sturgis, husband Keith, Kathy Champoux, Husband Robert, Ellen Hogan, Husband Tom, Julie Wood, Husband Tom and one brother, William Czar Jr. wife Lisa as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by Father William Czar, Mother Mary Czar, sister Linda Harden.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday August 16, 2023 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Catholic prayer service will be held at 7:00pm following calling hours in the funeral home with cremation to follow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated privately by the family with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, MA.
