BOSTON … Wayne A. Yost, 38, of Westport passed away, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
He was born in Fall River, the son of the late Kevin Yost, and the late Deborah (King) Arruda, and had lived most of his life in Fall River.
Mr. Yost will be remembered for the way his blue eyes sparkled when he laughed, his infectious smile, and his huge heart. He loved his children more than anything in the world. He also liked spending time with family and friends, football (Go Greenbay!), cooking, and gardening.
Wayne is survived by 3 sons: Aidan A. Yost; Wayne A. Yost, Jr.; Kamren Yost, all of Fall River; 2 daughters: Brianna Yost; Mya Yost, both of Fall River; his fiancé Amy Sylvia and her four children; 4 brothers: Chris Yost; Jeremy Yost; Wesley Yost, all of Fall River; Edward Ryan of N.H.; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Douglas Arruda and Michael Arruda.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 6pm at the First Christian Congregational Church of Swansea, 1113 Grand Army of Republic Highway, Swansea, MA 02777.
