Ms. Mary Eleanora Mack Goodridge was born in Old Road, Antigua to parents Arnold Locretian Joseph and Jane Ann Josiah Joseph. In 1956, she moved to London, England to continue her education and worked as a nurse. During her time in London, Mary met her late husband Kenneth D. Goodridge. In 1970, Mary affectionately known as Ms. Mack worked for the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston as a home health aide. On any given day you could find Mary working her way through a crossword puzzle, reading scriptures from the book of Psalms or tending to her garden. Mary was most passionate about keeping herself and children connected to their heritage in Antigua. As a young family, Mary continued to take her children back to her home during the Summers. In her lifetime, she built a blessed family home which has seen three generations and counting matriculate through. Fittingly so, Mary will be laid to rest in Antigua along side her mother and father and late siblings William, Carol, and Christopher.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Mary's life on Tuesday August 15, 2023 from 12-2 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Burial will be in her home country of Antigua.
