Sharon was born in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1946. She was the eldest daughter of Alton and Evelyn (Johnson) Briscoe.
After graduating from Brockton High School, Sharon attended beauty school, and worked as a hairdresser in salons and out of her home.

Sharon also leaves behind many wonderful, long-time friends, most especially the DiMarzio family.
Sharon loved children, her dogs, animals, baking, and sharing whatever she had with friends and family. She loved camping and for over forty years met up annually with a large group of friends at a campground alongside the Sacco River in New Hampshire for summer vacation.
Sharon volunteered for many years with the Abington High School Drama Club, and she used her expert yard sale and thrifting skills to enhance costumes and props for many hit productions. She was very creative, and her artistic abilities manifested in all manner of projects, from knitting (if you knew Sharon, you probably have a scarf she had gifted you!), baking, cooking, and even weaving “snuffle mats” for the pet dogs of her loved ones.
