BELMONT --- Robert “Bob” Joseph Kiver, 85, of Valley Drive, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Tilton.
Bob was born on January 1, 1938, in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Joseph “Joe” Kiver and Edna (Piekarski) Kiver.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 10 years and worked as a driver for UPS for 30 years. Bob enjoyed spending time at the lake, whether it was fishing, boating or waterskiing. He also enjoyed being a father and spending time with his granddaughter Brandi Hill. He loved dogs, especially his beloved "Max".
Bob is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Kiver of Belmont and Susan Kiver of Derry; a son, Mike Kiver of Laconia; three grandchildren, Brandi Hill, Kelly Bondra, and Jonathan Dahood; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Smith. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years in 2017, Jacqueline “Jackie” Smith Kiver; son Matthew Kiver; grandson, Shawn Tokanel; sister, Sandra Kiver; brother-in-law, Louis Smith; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Garabedian.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to all of Bob’s caregivers, especially the New Hampshire Veterans Home.
There will be no calling hours or services.
